Well now, let's see...qualifications. I've been on the general forum for roughly a year and 5 months. I post often, and i lurk like a beast. I've studied the rules, and rarely to i purposely break them. I know the difference between a spam thread, a helpful thread, and a utterly pointless and useless thread.
Am i up for this task? Yes. I am. Currently, i am juggling a part time job, and moving into a new house. No school, no friends, and plenty of free time to scope out the BBS with fellow moderators.
So, why should you pick me? Out of all these other outstanding candidates? Well, here is my opinion. I have a heart of stone. I do not/will not, play favorites, and succumb to bribes, threats, e-handjobs, no. Break the rules, i punish. edn. Second. I respect this website, and the rules that have been created. Rather than use this position to become a tyrranous overlord of banning destruction, i will do the job you ask me to do, to the letter. And when you get back, it's all yours.
Currently, my hours of availability are
Sunday: All day, all night. On and off, because i have errands and such.
Monday-Friday: afternoon, and late night
Saturday: mid-day, mostly night

Honestly, I doubt this is for real, since I'm pretty sure that a mod can't give his password to regular users (for reasons that I hope are obvious). Rabid lost his modship in part due to giving his password up, and since you probably know htat, you wouldn't risk doing this if it would cost you your position, because that would be stupid. This is most likely just some crazy prank, you sick little monkey.
HOWEVER
I recognize that this could simply be what is known as a "Christmas Miracle", and may be actually happening. I have some free time, so I may as well give it a shot so you and the rest of the mod team can laugh at me for being a gullible tool.
Basically, I miss the days when I was new here and the moderation team would hand out bans for fucking sneezing. There were no warnings; the ban WAS the warning. People didn't freak out due to bans as much back then, in my opinion, since they were more frequent. People were sort of used to it. Then the mods relaxed, and now these new little punks think that THEY run this place, and whine and moan and spray period blood every time they get a 3 day ban for posting malicious links and calling everyone a faggot.
Now, I probably wouldn't be a very harsh mod, but if I had to make up for your absence and ban quota, I'd adjust my policies without any real qualms about it, since this shit needs to happen one way or the other. Plus, in a sadistic way, I'd like to see how it feels to put some of these little pricks in their places when they start acting up and breaking rules.
also i run a php/bb forum and have ample experience in administrating this kind of thing i even ran a counter strike clan once surely that counts for something
