I resisted buying this phone for quite some time, buddy boy... For many of the reasons that you mentioned and others as well.
My phone shit the fucking bed and I went in for a replacement. I ended up getting the iphone for very cheap and I have never EVER been happier with a phone/gadget. It is fast all by itself and when I log into wifi it is even faster....
This is the first apple product that I have ever owned in my entire life and I must say I am very VERY impressed at how sleek it is and how streamlined it is in both form and function.
