that happened to me last month. Although not as high. Apparently when I got the $5 unlimited net for my phone...it wasn't really unlimited and was sucking up my minutes for no good reason. Then we changed our phone numbers to a NH number and they were like "oh, well you can only use this many minutes a week now..despite the fact you have like 400 minutes left from your 700 minute plan) and then charged us like crazy overage minutes...I screamed and yelled and got it down to $119, but then it didn't change on our online bill so I called again and the lady was like "you still owe $40...whoever told you that amount was wrong" ugh.

I also heard about a kid who got his parents a $19,000 phone bill by using the internet card for his laptop in canada. ATT is fucked up. at least verizon only charged me $300
